This privacy policy describes how Veeni, published by PolyMorph, collects, uses, and protects your personal data, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Personal data collected
When using the Veeni app, we may collect the following data:
- Account information: first name, last name, email, phone number, profile photo, date of birth (if provided)
- Cellar data: wine cards, photos, stock, tasting notes
- Wishlist data: wishes, social origins
- OCR scan data: label photos, extracted text
- Connection data: device type, technical logs
- Analytics data: user journey (via Amplitude), and technical error reports when something goes wrong (via Sentry)
- Advertising measurement data: if you install Veeni after seeing one of our ads, we receive aggregated, anonymous attribution information provided by Apple (SKAdNetwork). No advertising identifier (IDFA) is collected, and you are not tracked individually across apps.
- Social data: friend connections, social actions within the app
- Contacts data: if you enable friend discovery, the phone numbers in your address book are matched to find your contacts already on Veeni, without being kept for that purpose. In addition, when you tag a contact in a tasting or a memory, their number may be kept privately (visible only to you) in order to link that contact to your moment if they join Veeni. These numbers are never sold or made public.
- Place input data: place names you type when attaching a memory to a wine (autocomplete queries are sent to Google Places to suggest matches)
